Payment Policy
Payment Policy
This Payment Policy explains how payments are processed, when charges occur, how currency and taxes are displayed, and what may happen if a payment is declined, reviewed, refunded, or disputed.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
Liane accepts the payment methods displayed at checkout. Available payment options may vary depending on your location, device, currency, payment provider, and checkout eligibility.
- Credit and debit cards may be available when supported by checkout.
- Digital wallets or express checkout options may appear when enabled.
- Installment or buy-now-pay-later options may appear only when eligible.
- Some methods may require additional verification from your bank or payment provider.
2. Payment Authorization
When you place an order, your payment method may be authorized immediately. An authorization confirms that the payment method is valid and that funds may be available. The final charge may occur when the order is placed, accepted, processed, or fulfilled depending on the payment provider.
If authorization fails, the order may not be completed.
3. Currency
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the store or checkout at the time of purchase. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply exchange rates, conversion fees, international transaction fees, or other charges outside Liane’s control.
4. Taxes, Duties, and Shipping Fees
Taxes, duties, shipping fees, and any applicable checkout charges may be calculated during checkout. Depending on your delivery location, some taxes or import costs may be collected at checkout, while others may be charged separately by the carrier, customs authority, or local provider.
You are responsible for reviewing the final checkout total before completing payment.
5. Payment Security
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Liane does not store full credit card numbers or sensitive payment credentials on our website.
- Checkout pages use secure encrypted processing.
- Payment information may be verified by your bank or provider.
- Fraud-prevention tools may review high-risk transactions.
6. Failed or Declined Payments
A payment may fail or be declined for reasons including insufficient funds, incorrect billing details, expired card, bank restrictions, suspected fraud, payment provider errors, or failed verification.
If your payment fails, you may need to try another payment method, contact your bank, or place the order again. Liane cannot guarantee inventory availability while a failed payment is unresolved.
7. Payment Review and Fraud Prevention
Some orders may be temporarily held for payment review. We may request additional information or cancel an order if the payment appears unauthorized, suspicious, duplicated, inconsistent, or high risk.
This helps protect customers, cardholders, and our store from fraudulent activity.
8. Installments and Third-Party Financing
If an installment, financing, or buy-now-pay-later option is shown at checkout, that service is provided by a third-party payment provider. Approval, payment schedule, fees, eligibility, and account management are controlled by that provider.
Liane does not control approval decisions, installment terms, late fees, credit checks, or provider account requirements.
9. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method when possible. Processing times vary by payment provider, bank, and card issuer. Once a refund is issued, it may take several business days before the amount appears on your account.
Shipping fees, duties, taxes, personalization costs, return shipping, or payment provider fees may be non-refundable depending on the situation and applicable policy.
10. Order Changes After Payment
If you need to change an order after payment, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes can be made after processing begins, especially for personalized items or orders already prepared for shipment.
If a change affects the order total, additional payment or partial refund may be required.
11. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you do not recognize a charge, please contact us first so we can help review the order. Opening a chargeback may delay resolution while the payment provider investigates.
We may provide order details, delivery information, checkout records, customer communications, and fraud review data to the payment provider when responding to a dispute.
12. Incorrect Payment Details
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information. Orders may be delayed, rejected, or cancelled if payment details are incomplete, inaccurate, or cannot be verified.
13. Policy Updates
We may update this Payment Policy at any time to reflect changes in payment providers, checkout options, fraud prevention rules, store operations, or legal requirements. Updates take effect when posted on this page.
